RestoreIT® Lite to Ship with Intel Desktop Boards

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN JOSE, CA — September 9, 2002 — Intel Corporation has announced that it will distribute RestoreIT Lite on the newest Intel desktop boards.
RestoreIT Lite saves backup data to a protected partition of the hard drive and offers a user-friendly alternative to complex external backup systems. Lost data, deleted files, and even entire systems can be recovered with a few clicks, enabling users to solve many serious computer problems on their own.
Because a user always has an easy way to return to a stored image of factory default settings, RestoreIT eliminates the need for manufacturers to ship rescue CDs with new systems.

RestoreIT Lite and RestoreIT Deluxe run on Microsoft Windows 98, NT, 2000, ME, and XP.
