FarStone’s RestoreIT Software to Ship with Sys Technology PCs

IRVINE, CA — September 19, 2002 — Sys Technology will distribute RestoreIT data backup software with its new computers, starting in October 2002. The software bundle will give Sys customers a way to automatically back up their data and recover fast from data disasters.

RestoreIT is an easy-to-use alternative to complex external backup systems. RestoreIT saves a protected image of a computer system, logs any changes that occur on the hard disk, and stores this information in a hidden, secure partition of the hard drive.

With RestoreIT data backup and recovery software in place, PC manufacturers are no required to include a rescue CD with new systems. They also experience a reduction in lengthy tech support calls.
