FarStone Launches Live Update Program

New subscription service ensures up-to-date disc support for FarStone CD-DVD emulators

IRVINE, CA — December 17, 2002 — FarStone Technology has created a “Live Update” feature on its web site, allowing registered users of GameDrive CD emulator to download quarterly updates to game support.

“Most GameDrive users buy new games on a regular basis,” said Jimmy Lin, FarStone’s Software Product Manager. “Live Update is an example of our ongoing commitment to our customers to make sure GameDrive works with as many games as possible.”

Live Update is available immediately at www.farstone.com. It is free for one year from the date the user registers the product with FarStone. Once the initial subscription expires, continued access to Live Update is available for only $14.95 per year.
