FarStone Launches HackerSmacker^® Personal Firewall

IRVINE, CA — July 18, 2003 — FarStone Technology has released HackerSmacker 1.1, the latest version of the software previously known as FarStone Firewall. HackerSmacker has an improved user interface and several new features to make Internet privacy and security even easier.

HackerSmacker’s now includes:

1. A “Clean Slate” function that deletes all private information from the hard drive
2. Scheduled Internet access to control Internet use
3. New security options and privacy settings
