FarStone Releases RestoreIT^® Network 3.1

New version of RestoreIT Network includes updated features for LAN-based data backup and recovery

IRVINE, CA — August 20, 2003 — FarStone Technology has released RestoreIT Network 3.1, with enhanced scheduling capabilities and compatibility with new technologies like Serial ATA hard drives and hyper-threading.

The dot release of RestoreIT Network includes the following features:

1. Scheduled enabling or disabling of RestoreIT
2. Automatic scheduled data restoration
3. Compatible with hard drives larger than 128 GB (LBA 48 hard drives)
4. Windows 2003 Server support
5. Remote control of client computers across the LAN, the Internet, or different network segments
6. Permission prompts prior to recovering client computers

RestoreIT Network is a LAN-based data backup and recovery solution that automatically backs up every computer on a network at scheduled intervals. An administrative console allows remote control of backup activities and displays network connections, logs client computer use, and views client screens in real time.
