About VirtualDrive 8
VirtualDrive 8 emulates a computer’s physical CD/DVD-ROM drive, allowing a user to run disc-based applications as virtual CDs, or files, directly on the hard drive. A virtual CD has response times up to 200 times faster than a physical disc in a CD/DVD-ROM drive, and VirtualDrive 8’s RapidCache technology further improves performance by eliminating CD spin-up delays. VirtualDrive 8 creates up to 23 virtual CD/DVD-ROM drives and an unlimited number of virtual CD/DVD-ROMs.
About GameDrive 8
GameDrive 8 is an affordable CD emulator designed for PC gamers. While it contains all the disc support of VirtualDrive 8, it lacks VirtualDrive 8’s CD-DVD burning features, custom VCD creation, and multimedia support.
