FarStone Selected as Finalist for AeA Orange County High Tech Awards

IRVINE, CA — April 5, 2005 — FarStone Technology has been selected as a finalist for the Twelfth Annual High-Tech awards hosted by the AeA Orange County Council. AeA is the nation’s largest high-tech trade association. The High-Tech Awards honor outstanding local technology companies and acknowledge individual contributions to the local high-tech business community.

FarStone was named a finalist in the Innovative Product/Technology category for its RestoreIT personal disaster recovery solution. RestoreIT data backup and recovery software creates a complete system backup to a hidden partition on the PC hard drive, from which it can recover data even when Microsoft Windows^® is inoperable. The software also automatically records ongoing incremental backup points on top of the store complete backup, so that a user’s backup data is always up-to-date.
