HiNet, China Telecom Offer ISP-Based Data Disaster Recovery
FarStone partnership the large Asian Internet service providers offers RestoreIT® xSP as a subscription
Irvine, CA — October 12, 2005 — FarStone Technology has announced new partnerships with two Asian Internet service providers, who will deliver RestoreIT® xSP-based data disaster recovery to over 8 million Internet subscribers in China and Taiwan.
The deals with China Telecom Ltd. and HiNet Internet Services (Taiwan) will make the FarStone-designed data disaster recovery service available to 8.3 million customers on a subscription basis. Both large Asian ISPs are seeking to build their subscriber base and differentiate their services. FarStone will provide both ISPs with RestoreIT xSP software technology, program development, and other services.

FarStone will demonstrate RestoreIT xSP on October 18 – 20 of this month at ISPCON Fall 2005 in Santa Clara.
