Avanquest to Sell FarStone Software in Europe

Licensing agreement calls for online distribution through BlueSquad

IRVINE, CA — October 11, 2006 — FarStone Technology has partnered with international republisher Avanquest to distribute FarStone titles electronically in Europe.

Avanquest will market and sell FarStone VirtualDrive®, RestoreIT®, DriveClone™ and HackerSmacker® in through Avanquest’s BlueSquad online software store. BlueSquad is currently available in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain, and is due to launch in Italy.

BlueSquad features a catalogue of innovative products from software developers around the globe. Titles are available in download only. BlueSquad UK aready carries several FarStone titles.

DriveClone 2 copies an exact image of a computer’s hard drive or hard drive partitions and stores the image as a compressed archive of all files, all partition information, and all security information. DriveClone allows users to back up and recover data, clone a single hard drive onto another drive, or copy a hard drive configuration across multiple computer systems.
HackerSmacker 3 is a personal firewall with pre-set security levels to allow quick set up for less technical users.
