Overview


As Microsoft no longer provides security updates or technical support for Windows XP operating system, Windows XP is now under threat of harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.     Q: Will there be a pop-up or ads for Free edition?

    A: VirtualXP is free for non-commercial use. You will need to click the "Get Free License for Home Use" button on the product page to get a free license code in an email, and enter the license code. There is no pop-up or ads after entering the license code (serial number).

    Q: Can I convert a selected partition to virtual machine format?

    A: VirtualXP can convert the entire system including all partitions or only a selected partition.

    Q: When should I use the VirtualXP repair tool?

    A: Most XP systems are SP2/SP3 (service pack) and do not need it. But if your XP system is an older one, ie. XP SP1 or earlier versions, you might need to use the repair tool before loading the converted image on a Windows 8.

    Q: Is there a difference in the functionality between VirtualXP Free and VirtualXP for a company?

    A: They are the same in functionality. VirtualXP is free for non-commercial use. Please purchase license(s) for company use.
