Overview


As Microsoft no longer provides security updates or technical support for Windows XP operating system, Windows XP is now under threat of harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.     Q: I have an old laptop on XP that has a program I could not transfer to my Windows 7 laptop. Will your program help me to use that old program on my windows 7 machine?

    A: Yes, you can. Please refer to VirtualXP User's Guide for details.

    Q: Can I convert a selected partition to virtual machine format?

    A: VirtualXP can convert the entire system including all partitions or only a selected partition.

    Q: When should I use the VirtualXP repair tool?

    A: Most XP systems are SP2/SP3 (service pack) and do not need it. But if your XP system is an older one, ie. XP SP1 or earlier versions, you might need to use the repair tool before loading the converted image on a Windows 7 or 8.
